The purpose of the Worship Ministry at First Baptist Raytown is to honor God by preparing and prompting His people in corporate and individual expressions of adoration. The Worship Ministry leads believers into meaningful worship of God. It also seeks to present the good news of Jesus Christ to those who don't know Him through music and drama.
Worship is at the heart of First Baptist Raytown's services. FBR uses a blended style of worship, recognizing that God can speak and move through both traditional hymns and contemporary choruses. Whether it is through choir or orchestra specials, or in corporate worship, music and drama enhance the worshipper's experience and help lead in moments of transformation and wonder.
