Children's Choir
In First Baptist Raytown's Children's Choirs, your child will make friends, learn new songs and have a great time! In addition, children who participate learn about Jesus and God’s plan for their lives through song and instruments. They gain confidence and learn to perform before a live audience by performing in the annual Carols & Candles at Christmas, and during several worship services during the choir year. Children's Choir meets on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. during the school year.
Who Can Join?
Our Children's Choirs are for children age three through sixth grade. The program places children in choirs with other children who are the same age. Preschool choirs meet on the lower level of Building A. Grades 1-6 meet on the second floor of Building B.
Hymn Treasures
Hymn Treasures hymn memorization program is used in our 3-year-old, 4-year-old,
kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade choirs. The children learn and memorize one hymn each month. Learning and memorizing hymns is a valuable way to plant God's Word in the hearts of our children.
