A MESSAGE FROM BRO. PAUL
Welcome. Thank you for worshiping with us today. If you are a guest please fill out one to of the connection cards in the pew rack in front of you and drop it in the offering plate. Thanks.
Lord's Supper. We will observe communion during the worship service today. Following the time of personal confession of sin I will lead the church in a time of corporate confession. Here is the prayer that we will pray. I thought it would be good to read it and think about it before we say it together.
Most merciful God,
we do not presume to come to this your table
trusting in our own righteousness,
but in your manifold and great mercies.
We are not worthy so much as
to gather up the crumbs under your table.
But you are the same Lord
whose nature is always to have mercy.
We confess that we have sinned against you
in thought, word, and deed,
by what we have done, and by what we have left undone.
We have not loved you with o ur whole heart;
we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves.
We are truly sorry and we humbly repent.
For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ,
have mercy on us and forgive us;
that we may delight in your will, and walk in your ways,
to the glory of your Name. Amen.
Emergency Assistance Offering or benevolence offering will be received as you leave the worship center. This money will be kept in a special fund and used to minister to those in our church family who are in need. Please give something; a number of our people are going through difficult times.
Prayer for healing in next week's service. If you have a friend who needs prayer bring them with you. I love you,
Bro. Paul
