Working with our preschoolers is far more than diapers, toys, and coloring pages. It is about laying strong biblical foundations that will help our little ones soar ahead into a future walk with God! It is nurturing, building relationships, and modeling Christ's love. This rewarding ministry could not exist without the time and talents of faithful individuals like you. There are many opportunities to get involved in Sunday mornings as well as Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Check out some of these opportunities below.
All Preschool Ministry volunteers are required to complete a background check and application to ensure the safety of our children.
Classroom Lead Teacher
As a classroom lead teacher, you will oversee the entire class hour, which will include greeting teacher assistants and informing them of what their assignments are and leading the Bible teaching times. You are the “supervisor” of the room. All curriculum and supplies are provided.
Classroom Teacher Assistant
As a classroom teacher assistant, you will involve children in a Bible activity as they arrive, show love through conversation with the children, assist with discipline issues so the lead teacher can continue with the lesson, help with bathroom trips, and assist with setup and cleanup.
Preschool Check-in Volunteer
As a check-in volunteer, you will greet visitors and make kids and parents feel welcome and comfortable. Your role will be to facilitate the security and sign-in process and help parents find classrooms.
