Dr. Brandon Park has been the Senior Pastor of First Baptist Raytown since September of 2012. Prior to moving to Kansas City, he pastored churches in Miami, Florida, and central Virginia. Even though Dr. Park is currently said to be the youngest megachurch pastor in the country, he has served as a Senior Pastor since he was 19 years old.
Pastor Brandon is passionate about making disciples and seeing people reach their maximum potential in who they are in Jesus Christ. He has served as a church growth consultant and has trained other pastors internationally. Brandon has also authored several books and been a featured speaker on many radio and television outlets.
Brandon's education includes four formal degrees. He graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion, majoring in Pastoral Ministries and minoring in Psychology. From Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, he has earned a Master of Arts in Religion degree in Church Growth and Evangelism as well as a Masters of Divinity degree. In 2011, Brandon completed his Doctor of Ministry degree, specializing in preaching and communications.
Brandon was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but moved to South Florida when he was a child. In college, he met and fell in love with a young woman from Northern Maine. He and Carrie Ann married, and together they have three children: Austin, Ava Marie, and Ainsley. Carrie serves in our worship choir and children's ministries, and she is also a fitness instructor at our ROC.
