Are you interested in serving on a misison trip to New Orleans?
Volunteers are needed to serve staff and congregational members of First Baptist Church of New Orleans by assisting with yard clean-up, roof repair, and sheetrock and furniture removal. In addition, volunteers with CDL driver licenses are needed to drive the shuttle bus with volunteers and supplies

Volunteers with construction expertise are needed to help with small and large repairs on the church and in homes.

Volunteer teams are needed to visit shelters to help locate First Baptist Church of New Orleans members and coordinate assistance.
- Local coordinators are needed at First Baptist Raytown to help direct donation organization.
- Volunteers are needed to help with donation sorting, loading and packing.

A disaster relief fund has been established through First Baptist Raytown. Simply write “disaster relief” on your check or money envelope, and put it in the offering plate or mail it to the church at: First Baptist Raytown, att: Disaster Relief, 10500 E. 350 Highway, Raytown, MO 64138.

- Pray for wisdom of the First Baptist Church of New Orleans staff as they make decisions on how to move forward.
- Pray for the victims of the disaster – for healing, guidance and peace.
- Pray for the safety of the volunteer teams going to that region.
- Pray for the local, state and government authorities and their clean-up and recovery efforts in the affected areas.
