Sundays in KidCity

Kids express themselves differently than adults, so we offer a unique program for your 1st through 4th graders on Sundays:

9:30 a.m. – 3rd & 4th Grade
11:00 a.m. – 1st & 2nd Grade

The kids meet as a large group for Powerhouse, a worship hour with music, games, and a lesson geared toward children. Powerhouse is located at the heart of KidCity in B101-105.

Small Group Rotations
9:30 a.m. – 1st & 2nd Grade
11:00 a.m. – 3rd & 4th Grade

After Powerhouse, kids break into small groups with other kids their age for Bible study. All of this happens in our awesome children’s area, KidCity. See rotations below to check out where your kids will be learning.

It is so exciting to see God moving in the next generation! Over the past several months we have seen many new families in the Children’s Ministry. God has given us a new vision for KidCity (1st-6th grade) and we want to be ready to be a blessing to the families in our community. The next generation is a priority at FBR as we strive to ENGAGE kids with the love and message of Christ,  EQUIP them with Biblical principles to reach their maximum potential, and EMPOWER kids for ministry in their world.

To be fully staffed, we need to double our KidCity volunteers! There are opportunities at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. to teach, lead worship, drama, small group leaders, game leaders, door greeters, assist in check in, and more. You can find details of each position below. There is something for everyone, and everyone is needed. Please pray about your involvement and contact Jen Abercrombie at jabercrombie@firstbaptistraytown.com or 816-922-9458.
