Special Vote

There will be a special vote on Sunday, May 7, at the close of each of the three worship services to vote on a unanimous recommendation made by the Leadership Team, Rebranding Committee, and Multisite Team that the church vote to give our church a unifying name across all present and future campuses by voting for your choice between the top two names based on member feedback – Fountain City Church and Connection Point Church. This vote will not affect our legal name as The First Baptist Church of Raytown.

Graduate Recognition Sunday

On Sunday, May 21, there will be a special bulletin insert with pictures of the high school and college graduates. To be included, submit your pictures to the church office or email them to Joanna Goforth at jgoforth@firstbaptistraytown.com no later than Sunday, May 14. High school graduates, please include your name and the school your are graduating from. College graduates, please include your name, school you are graduating from, and the degree you are receiving.

Parent-Child Dedication

If you would like to commit your family to the Lord, our next Parent-Child Dedication will be Sunday, May 14, during the 9:30, 11:00, and 5:00 worship services. This is a wonderful time to be surrounded by family and friends as you reflect on your commitment to raise your child in a Christ-centered home. A required orientation will be held in room A-104 on Sunday, May 7, during the 9:30, 11:00, and 5:00 hours.

Women on Mission

Dr. Rodney Hammer, Blue River-Kansas City Associational Director, will speak at Women On Mission on Thursday, May 4, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The meeting will be followed by a salad luncheon. Those attending are asked to bring a salad to share. Bring individually-wrapped snacks (candy bars, cheese & crackers, chips, etc.) for the Raytown Fire Department for appreciation of their service. Preschool & WAM Choir Program

Come see our Preschool Praise’ntations and WAM Choirs present a night of music and cuteness on Sunday, April 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. The preschoolers will perform songs from Hillsong Kids, The Donut Man, and Preschool Praise'ntations. And our 1st-6th graders will perform their spring musical, Star Quest.

Mentorship Program Info Meeting

The Bridge is a new mentorship program for college-aged females and those preparing to go to college within the next few years. If this is you or you have a daughter in college or preparing for college, or you think you might make a great mentor, come to our information meeting on Wednesday, April 19, at 6:15 p.m. in B-212-214 (the Crossroads Room).

Women's Salad Luncheon

The annual women’s spring salad luncheon, “Bloom Where You’re Planted," is coming up on Saturday, May 6, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. We’ll have a great guest speaker, beautiful table decorations, delicious salads, and a lot of fun. Admission to this favorite event is a salad to share and toiletries of any kind to be donated to City Union Mission.
