So That All May Hear
Southern Baptists have been making evangelism a global priority since 1845. Following the example of the early church in Acts 8, First Baptist Raytown continues to increase
its involvement in missions while working to spread the gospel down the street, across the country and around the globe.
Are missions and evangelism a global priority for you? Listed below are upcoming missions and evangelism opportunities. Get plugged in by praying, going and giving.
Pray
Please remember to pray for our adopted missionaries: Chuck and Amy Barbour, serving in Zambia; Carl and Cheryl Compton, serving in Dakar, Senegal; Brock and Jeanne Cummins, serving in the Caribbean Basin; Mark and Janice Keeton, serving in Zambia; Lynn Olmstead, serving in Brazil; David and Robin Stow, serving in Eastern Africa; Mildred Verbeck, serving in Brazil.
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:19-20
In addition, pray for the students' annual missions trips, summer missions, and other individuals whom God will call this year to take the gospel to the ends of the earth.
First Baptist Raytown is proud to be a partner of Pray Raytown,
an initiative to blanket Raytown with prayer for its residents, local churches, government, school district and businesses.
