Programs & Support Groups for Single Adults
The single life can be trying, but it also provides more opportunities for ministry and growth. FBR has designed its Singles Ministry to meet the needs of singles and to equip them to meet the needs of others. Some of the programs that FBR has developed to accomplish that include:
Divorce Ministry
DivorceCare is made up of people who understand what you are experiencing if you are in the process of a divorce or already divorced. Learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. DivorceCare meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. For more information, click here.
Single Parents Ministry
Single parenting is difficult, but life is easier with a little help and support from others who understand its challenges. Meet other single parents and develop a net of encouragement and support as you seek to raise your children in a godly way. For more information, contact Pat Windham at 816-778-1119.
Metro Kansas City
Metro understands the vacuum that exists for so many young singles. Too often, young singles are left without a place where they feel at home. It is the vision of Metro to provide that place - a place where young singles can enjoy earnest worship and biblical teaching. Metro meets on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. Click HERE for the Metro website.
Service Ministry
FBR's single ministry firmly believes in the importance of community impact through service. FBR singles apply their faith by demonstrating it in the community by serving meals to the homeless, building houses for low-income families, donation drives, and much more. Join us as we seek to impact our community in practical and Christ-like ways.
