Special Events
Throughout the year, First Baptist Raytown offers many opportunities for kids of all ages to get involved. The events listed below are a sneak peak into what is in store for your children if they are involved in our children's ministry.
Fall Fun Fest
This event is open to children through 6th grades, their friends, and the children of our community. Come for games, candy, popcorn, and lots of fun. Admission is one or more items of non-perishable food. Costumes are allowed, but please no monsters, witches, devils, etc. Fall Fun Fest will be held on October 31 in the gym at 6 p.m.
 Children's Camp
(For 3-6 grade)
Children's Camp is a week long event held each year for children, church members and non-church members, who have completed 3rd-6th grades. Windermere Christian Retreat Center is the location of Children's Camp, and is located approximately three hours South of Kansas City on the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks. This is a week filled with music, games, crafts, Bible study, Worship, jet skis, boats, water trampoline and a time to focus on God, His Son Jesus, and His plan for your child's life.
Children's Camp 2009 is scheduled for August 2-6, 2009. Matt Papa will be our camp pastor.

Day Camp
(For preschool and early elementary)
Coincides with Children's Camp in August so that preschoolers with siblings that go to camp have camp too!
Vacation Bible School
(Completed kindergarten - 5th grade)
VBS will be held on June 15-19, 2009, from 6:00 - 8:45 p.m. daily. This week of crafts, games and Bible study is sure to keep your kid happy!
Easter Eggstravaganza
 Every year around Easter, the Preschool and Children's ministries holds an Easter egg hunt on the church property. Kids are invited to this free event which includes puppets, clowns, treats, prizes and the giant Easter egg hunt. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Admittance is 6 filled plastic Easter eggs.
