MP21: The Master's Plan for the 21st Century
In 2003 and 2004, First Baptist Raytown embarked upon a journey to discover God's will. This planning process yielded valuable information about where FBR has been and where it is going. From facilities to programs, members of the MP21 committee evaluated the church in five specific areas:

What we discovered is that we are in consensus about the power of prayer. As we move forward, we move forward prayerfully. We discovered that we have the opportunity to expand our church's programs in the areas of prayer, men's ministry, recreational ministry, missions ministry, family ministry, new member assimilation, cross-cultural ministry, discipleship, Bible study, lay ministry and worship. What we also discovered is that our mission is timeless: We are building a New Testament church that will reach the Kansas City area and impact the world for Christ.
Following the MP21 strategic planning process, the committee prepared an overview presentation of its findings and recommendations for the future. The presentation is the result of the committee's efforts; however, the presentation and the plan are dynamic documents that will change as God leads.
